Club Structure


The committee is suggesting a change in the structure of the Weald Tri Club for the 2017/18 year.  The club membership has been growing by more than 50% a year and while this is a great reflection of the club’s success it has increased the workload on a few individuals to an unrealistic level.  To ensure that continuous support of the club functions are maintained and the same or enhanced level of coaching as the club continues, the club needs to make changes.

The proposal is to change the club’s committee roles to head up the sections and we would like to split out some of the functions for people to help support these roles.  It is also hoped that the majority of these roles can be performed by people who are not coaches, thereby freeing the coaches time so they can provide more sessions etc.   In addition, we would also like to build up the junior section as we now have sufficient juniors to warrant junior specific training sessions.

All the roles are open so please do come forward to support your club, just let me (the secretary)  know if you want to put your name forward for a role.  For more information, please talk to any of the current committee members.
